@nhcaroltw to me they seemed to be true to size, or perhaps slightly small. I wear an XL, XXL, or 0X/1X of n other brands and the XL fits me but not extra roomy. That’s typical for how things fit me. Hope that helps. I can take any measurements you might be interested in if that helps.

@avazoom0 thanks! I usually wear a medium - hips are 38” - I’m thinking about a large so they are not too tight- what do you think? I am also short - 4’10”

@nhcaroltw the size medium measures 21.25” across the lower pocket area where thinking hips would be, laid flat, not stretched at all.

@nhcaroltw I don't mean to butt in but I own 4 pairs of these in various colors and love them. If you do not plan on putting them in the dryer which the washing instructions don't recommend, then for certain I would still get a large if you want roomier. Normally, I wear a L and get XL for the same reason. I accidentally put my black ones in the dryer and they shrunk 2 inches in length and also in size.
