(Cover) Tux came from the shelter. it was her last day there, they told us she was going to "The Farm" yeh, right! We adopted her. She was a sweet & endearing scaredy cat.
Kitty Kat was a black cat we brought with us when we moved to CA from AZ, 27 years ago. Long before digital cameras, most of our photos are still in books!
Ochre, our orange tabby. He met me at work one morning while I was opening shop. Kitty Kat had just passed away, we were missing him. Ochre was homeless & hungry. I brought him inside, kept him in the back room til work was over. He rode in a box in my bike basket poking his head out, meowing all the way home.
Kiki, our long hair tortoiseshell. She and her 3 siblings were feral kittens born in our neighbors shed. As soon as they were old enough to venture out, I started enticing them with food. After a short while we were able to tame them enough to go to new homes, we kept Kiki. She & Ochre became best friends.
Cuddles was my Mom's cat. When she passed, Cuddles flew home with me. She lived to 26 before she passed.
Handsome Hotshot, our outdoor neglected neighbor's cat that started hanging around. She said his name was Hotshot. She had too many cats & didn't really want him so he became part of our family. We changed his name to Handsome because he was.
Grey Boy a neglected homeless cat very old, very hungry found his way to our yard. Our girls (Gheera & Jada) finally accepted him but then he disappeared.
