Authentic CHANEL #5 Belt. This is a very RARE ITEM. This is from there 1987 runway show. It is 22kt gold plated with calfs leather. The front of the number 5 is acrylic, to protect it. I purchased this item at an estate sale in La Jolla California. The belt was in its original box with the store tag still attached ( I. Magnin ) This Store has been closed for many years. The closet was climate controlled and the belt is in perfect condition. The belts markings are on the hook of the belt. In 1985 CHANEL started to put serial numbers on there handbags. However they didn't put serial numbers on there belts and other accessories until 1990. This is an exceptional find. And I have only seen one other item like this.
