This is a beautiful, double layered, black satin lined, ribboned and ruffled Victorian period skirt. It has a satin ribbon lacing from top to ruffle. This is a Real piece of clothing, not costume grade. I did ,however, wear it for a Penny Dreadful Halloween costume. The size says 46...I was a size 12 at the time but it fits high up...not at the waist and could go larger. It's length is 40 1/2 inches from top to bottom, and measured seam to seam along the waistband in the front is 18 inches. The inside ruffled skirt provides full satin lining while the second, outside full ribboned layer provides the fullness and design. Absolutely beautiful piece. I also enclosed a picture of a brand new grey one from Etsy (which is where I bought it from). This skirt is black...not grey.
