FRAUD* Smh ! Everyone be careful with this app ! So many LIARS AND SCAMMERS OUT THERE ! Sad that I've been on this app for 2 days and already seen scammer post after scammer post and lie after lie! People lying about their grandma having surgery and other crap like that ! Nonsense ! What does that have to do with you doing business properly ! Come on now we are GROWN ! No one has time for this MADNESS !! Smh ! It's ridiculous how IGNORANT people can be !!! GROW UP ! Karma is a you know what !!!

dfizzal Aw I know I read there sold items to see how long it took them to mail or if they got their items before buying from a person! nella_ella_ehh I have had a great experience buying and selling. I just recently had to put all my stuff in storage as my new place gets ready for me to move in. Retrieving the items that sold in 20 degree weather was difficult.and there were alot of boxes to open ... But my shoppers understood and had their items sent out just later than expected !!!! I know that PM costumer service is great so there is a way of getting your money back ... This app is great I think . Welcome to PM have a great time doll

biancarenee As long as you don't trade, or use PayPal you won't be scammed out of your money on here. Poshmark allows the customer to hold on to the money and approve their purchased item before the seller ever sees a penny. Although trading and PayPal are tempting, it's always a gamble 😉 hope that gives you some relief! ❤❤

biancarenee Well PayPal is not affiliated with poshmark that's why they recommend we don't use it. (That and because they don't get their share of the sale) so that is how people get scammed at least from what I've seen. Use PayPal and you run the risk of sending money and never getting your item, trade and you run the risk of sending your item and they keep your item. But if you just buy on here I really don't think there is a way to get scammed. Even for example: You bought an "authentic LV purse" but when you got it, it wasn't. You can file your report and not accept the funds be transferred over to the seller. I think then pm sends you a return label but I'm not sure what happens I just know I haven't seen any trouble with that. That's all! Hope that helps!!

jafarmer I have been and Big Buyer and a Seller since December 2012 and I Love Poshmark it's Posher's and all the items being offered. Now I myself feel that there are scammers out there and in this app it's all over everybody trying to get over on someone from not paying or not sending I've dealt with people saying the item was damaged or they have to go to post office for pick up because a notice was left. Wow what a mess but I sit wait out the 3 days then I report the problem to posh right away. Eventually you get paid and everybody's happy I'm a honest buyer and seller check out my closet for great deals and bundles.

nursegov I hear all you ladies. I felt horrible when I sold some purses and I was delayed mailing them cause my son was on the hospital again. I didn't want to have my buyers think it was just an excuse. But they were very understanding :) I have meet some great Poshers on here :) thank u all!!

tiatia826 @cocoluvya Hi there! I've been on PM for several months now, and it has changed drastically. It used to be a fun, safe place to buy and sell your items, and to make great friends in the process. That being said, there are many amazing and wonderful ladies in here, and I have made a couple of "real" friendships on here, not just Posh friendships. There is scamming that goes on, and it really started getting bad a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if PM is understaffed or what, but they are not dealing with these scammers in a timely way, so many people get scammed by one person before that person is banned by Posh. Many of them then just start up a new closet under a different name. It definitely is a problem, and we all have to look out for each other because, for whatever reason, PM is not. There are several things you can do to protect yourself. One was already mentioned, which is read the comments under a seller's sold items. If she is a scammer, or even just a bad Posher, it will quickly become evident. Secondly, follow all the Suggested Users and see who they seem to be familiar and friendly with. Chances are their friend's closets are safe. You might also periodically see a list someone has made of scammers. Go to the closets of each of those people and block them. If you are scammed, post the name of the person who scammed you (only without the @ before their username.) If you use the @ it will notify them that people are on to them and they will just open a new account with a new name. This happened to me. I reported a girl for harassment, and she quickly changed her username by inverting the last two digits. When Posh went to investigate my claim, they could not find her. A friend helped me track her down, and I reported it to Posh. Also, one big thing for me is I never deal with empty closets. If I get a notification that so&so is following me, I always go to their closet and share some of their things. If I find an empty closet, I'm outta there. Too many empty closets are scammers who got in trouble for their scamming, and then open an empty closet just to get revenge on the people who reported them. Some are people who are on PM just to buy, not sell, but I prefer to play it safe. I'm sorry for writing such a long post, but I just wanted to share some of what I've learned from being on PM for a while, and from being scammed myself, and from having friends who have been scammed as well. I hope it helps. Hang in there @cocoluvya! Poshmark is still a great community despite those opportunistic scammers and all the trash talkers who like to start fights. Just be careful who you deal with, and you'll be okay! :-)
