Belleek Toy Nautilus Shell Set

This is a vintage Belleek 'Toy Shell' or 'Nautilus Shell' creamer and sugar bowl set in a pale yellow luster glaze. The set is made of fine Parian China from County Farmanagh, Ireland. It features an embossed, swirled seashell design. The items are ivory-colored with a shiny pale yellow glaze on the inside and handle and appear translucent when held up to the light due to the delicate and thin porcelain. This set features Belleeck's "fifth green mark," dating it between 1955 and 1965.
