Beautifully Crafted Wooden Box with Reverse Painted Schooner

A very well made little trinket box - the picture looks like it's reverse painted but I honestly can't tell for sure. Measures about 5 1/2"L x 4 1/4"W. I believe it's vintage - the bottom is cracked but not visible unless upside down. Very pretty and solid otherwise.
