Baccarat Crystal Whiskey Set in Faux Book Tantalus

Mid century French liqueur tantalus set / cave a liqueur, the false-book form, the interior holding a Baccarat decanter and six Baccarat liqueur glasses, all with maker's marks, the box unmarked but likely also made in France." 9" H X 10.25" W X 8" D. Glassware is excellent. Considerable wear to leather exterior. The tantnalus is fully functional but the leather has considerable wear. The spine ends of the books are worn. The spine ends of the bottom book have crude repairs. The spine label of the second book from the top is missing. The leather is dried and cracked, particularly to the top There is wear to the rear corners of the books. It was deliberately 'antiqued' when made mid century. It has been 'antiqued ' since.
