BALENCIAGA S/S 2004 City Bag, Seafoam, Chevre Leather/Pewter HW - Rare, HTF!

2004 Spring/Summer Balenciaga City in Seafoam A favorite color among collectors! Rare & HTF!! Previously used handbag in good/fair condition. Made from silky soft & squishy chevre leather with pewter (silver) hardware, which was discontinued after the 2004 Summer season when they switched to the antiqued brass HW for fall. The color has faded, but in my opinion, 2004 seafoam is a beautiful color no matter how saturated or faded it is! Approx measurements: 14 inches across, 10 inches high and 3.5 inches deep No mirror, spare tassels or Balenciaga sleeper (I will ship it inside a Marc Jacobs white flannel sleeper) The inside is clean with only minimal wear. No rips, holes, snags or stains. The handles are where most of the wear is evident -- the leather has softened so they appear slightly misshapen. The laces are worn and there is minimal "cracking" to the edgepaint. The tubing inside the front handle has shifted and stretched so it appears a little softer & "pinched" than the others. The corners are worn. There's a glue stain on the bottom of the bag at one end. There's a small black speck on the front of the bag that may be a pen mark. No other major flaws or damage -- the bag has just been carried often and much loved, but still has lots of life left!! The color and leather outweigh its wear! Seafoam is one of the "must have" colors for all Balenciaga collectors!
