Antique Inkwell with Bronze Base

Gilted hinged inkwell, appears to be hand carved, unsure of whether it’s carved out of jade or another material, very old and heavy in weight. Missing white porcelain inlay for ink that broke from age. Aside from that, beautiful decorative piece.
