Back of the art has discoloration on the paper matte. This is a unique piece. Definitely vintage, possibly antique. Looks to be an Amish Colonial farmer with a barn in the background. Sickle in hand, chicken on a fence post. The material looks to be woven linen, and is hand painted. The frame appears to be wood. The back matte appears to be glued on.
