A beautiful approximately 1.5 carat old European cut diamond in platinum setting with pretty scroll work and three small diamonds on each side. This ring was worn by my great grand mother, then her daughter my great Aunt, who gave it to me as a child. I have held it my whole life but not worn it much. It is now time to find a wonderful other woman who will love it. It is super bright, pretty, sparkly and looks big on my small hand. J-K color and Si1 clarity. Thanks! @loulie I also think it is a 4.5 because that is the size of the finger I put it on and it fit very well. I believe it can be resized.

thank you for not accepting my offer of 4k, I feel like an idiot..your selling a diamond that you don't even know is real, and no paperwork! sorta like my mom...inherited her aunts diamond ring, her aunt was so proud of her ring..took it to be tested...it was not real. if you get it tested and it's real actually post the appraisal I might offer more.it is a beautiful ring

@gweierheiser You are not an idiot. I understand your concern. I have had many jewelers look at it over the years and offer to buy it. The jewelers will buy it for a fraction of its value and sell it for alot more. Not worth it to me given the sentimental value. Anyway, it is very real, you'd likely pay alot more from a jeweler. I don't want to pay for an appraisal when I pay Poshmark 20% to authenticate that it is real. If it does not sell that is fine. I love it.

@chakrabella I would definately not resell it and it would be passed down to my daughter. I was lucky enough to end up with my grandma's rolex, that my daughter knows she's getting. it is a beautiful ring and who ever ends up with it. they are soo lucky.
