HI Mary. I don't think I can improve on the pictures that are up already. I'm sure you could have the piece altered. As shown, there's are two seams in the back that could be used to take it in from side to side. And since it is designed to be worn open, the front is made with extra fabric. Might be cute with a belt, too!
