An Iris In June

About my brand: An Iris In June is my own brand I am starting, inspired by and named after my mom, Iris, who passed away in mid 2021 due to Covid and Pneumonia. Her middle name was June, and June was the last time I truly saw her happy before things took a bad turn. Several years ago my mom was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, a rare brain condition, causing headaches and migraines almost every minute of every day. Years later she learned she also had Diabeties and Arthritis. Despite the pain my mother was going through, she put everyone before herself, do anything for anyone, and even had went back to school. She was set to graduate in August. In June 2021, my mom was in high spirits to go to see my grandparents in Alaska. We all went. We all got sick in July and thought it was allergies. It wasn't. I flew home and became very sick myself, but learned my mom was in the hospital with Covid and pneumonia. Less than 2 weeks later, I got the call that my mom had passed. My mom was the strongest person I've ever known and my best friend. She and I had spoke many times over the years about starting a business together, but never got to, so I am and I'm naming it after her. The jewelry: I use nickel free 14k & 18k electroplated components, only use hypoallergenic ear posts & ear wires, & while the jewelry is delicate, I always take my time on each piece to ensure the best experience possible. Handle with care. Avoid sweat and excess water contact for longer durability.
