Unskilled sellers increasingly buy luxury items via third parties and list them as authentic. Poshmark’s authentication process cannot guarantee 100% that submitted items aren’t counterfeits. Luxury authentication experts have published numerous articles detailing how the online luxury platforms: - Bypasses rigorous authentication protocols, - Relies on unverified apps like Entrupy, - Lacks proper training for authenticators. These sellers aggressively shield themselves and their networks: they block buyers after negative experiences, delete chat histories, and defame customers. This was my experience.
