I upped the style quotient by changing out the buttons for a pair of vintage silver ones from my grandma's collection. I also reinforced them with backing buttons on the inner lapel. The buttons are beautiful, the coat is beautiful, and the sentiment is beautiful (*drops a silent and heartfelt tear). Hope someone enjoys it, and my grandmas buttons can go on an adventure.
