70s/80s I Old Brown Fine Leather Shoulder Bag I Long Island, NY

Here is fine leather shoulder bag in a really pretty shade of brown, which could also be worn cross-body. For the life of me, I could not make out the maker's stamp, only the "Fine Leather L.I.N.Y." part, so maybe some older Long Islanders might know what it says. It is either from the 1970s or 1980s. It is clearly beat up with lots of scratching, but has that nice old leather look all the same. There is some visible wear around the edges, and the strap has one bit of damage, so please review all photos for full condition. The bag has a fat zipper at the top, which works fine, and one interior pocket. There are two other notches on the strap (3 in total) to adjust, but it's tough to unfasten the buckle as its been in place like that for decades.
