Antique white with some very light discoloration from long storage will come out with a hand wash, or use as is (the yellow variation of the color in the photos is due to the lighting--the bag is very clean and overall uniform in color!). 7-1/4" wide x 6" deep; the string handles are 4-1/2" above the top of the bag--just enough to hold it lightly over your forearm or gently dangling from your fingertips. The bag is open at the top and has a crenellated lace edge that can be tucked in for a cleaner look and to allow a loop thread to secure the double-popcorn soft closure that is surprisingly effective for securing contents. The body of the bag is a tatted mermaid scale design, finer on the back, denser on the front. There is one crocheted floral applique in the front center, the other flower / leaves seem crocheted into place, as are the two popcorn buttons that close the top.
