5 Original Wm Roger's large silverplated serving spoons about 8.25 " long with 2.75" long x 1.75" bowl marked with company and Original Rogers on the reverse, and 1 silverplated slotted serving spoon marked Holmes&Edwards IS on the reverse. There are also unreadable numbers on the mark of the slotted spoon. Larger than an average tablespoon, these are great serving spoons for casseroles, vegetables, potatoes and lots of other things. Patterns unknown. IS was a consortium/company which included Roger's and Holmes & Edwards among others in Meridian, Conn. Silverplate deteriorates in dishwashers and hard polishing, but can last for years if handled with care. Obviously these are from the 1950s or 60s. Creates a beautiful table and can be used with other patterns of flatware.
