2edgyI think this dress is going to be almost the biggest WOW you have ever created, well, in a way, meaning that because it’s like a dress in desert snow and it may sound like overkill but to wear a similar scarf with it would just be something no one has ever seen in their lives. 2edgyIt’s like in some places you could see that in a boutique and someone would literally pay like $300 for it and like 150 for your longer scarves, And wouldn’t think twice, if they could afford it but they should not be in an upscale boutique if they couldn’t, LMAO. But I guess I shouldn’t have said that, we all can dream and window shop I guess 😉

londonerus@2edgy that's the thing, it obviously takes a long time and a lot of material to make.. then again, most handmade things do. i've also been quite sore these last few weeks so it takes even longer. this one is done in the sense that it is wearable and pretty and all that, i just want to add more detail for looks and also add a few inches of lace to the underskirt part :-))) but i love wearing it, so comfortable, earrings pop with it, a great canvas for accessories actually :-DDD

londonerus@raggurl ah you're so kind :-))) I learned to use a sewing machine as a kid (it's not hard to learn) other than that pretty much self-taught.. guess it's like most things, easy to learn hard to master.. I have sooooooo much to learn!! I do plan on making a few dresses this style in different sizes, they're so amazing to wear and accessorize :-D

londonerus@moxy hi & thank you :-))) i bought them about ten years ago at saks. they're by ann demeulemeester (brand), a belgian designer.. her boots are extremely high quality and they held up incredibly.. mine are still as good as new after a lot of wear. they come in three different lengths (i have all three and they are all amazing)
