Nude undergarments are pretty safe underneath but some women have preferred a slip or a cami with leggings or even jeans depending on if you're wearing it as a tunic or mini dress. It's really what you are comfortable with. Personally I've worn mine a few different ways w/and w/out slips/cami's/dress extenders.
