Set of 2 vintage Thatcher Glass Diamond Pattern Liquor Decanter, now labeled Bourbon and Vodka 1962 antique Whiskey Decanter with special embossing on base required by US prohibition act that went into effect in 1935 and was repealed 1964. TMC D-126 distiller code embossed on base of decanter with "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR REUSE OF THIS BOTTLE" 11.5" tall and 3" square base The 2 is the glass company's permit code The 62 is the year code (1962) Makers mark for Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company which is in the middle These two glass decanters add a retro vibe to any space. The diamond design picks up light beautifully The toppers and bottom are in great condition but the seal/stopper, while present, is aged and could use replacing depending on your choice of use. No residue in the bottom.
