2 Vintage '31 Press Photos Lion Cub National Zoo

Original press photographs used in Nature Magazine. They are of a lion cub named Susan who was raised in the home of Dr. William M. Mann, the director of the National Zoo. Dated January 1931. Lovely additions to any collection! Since they were for publishing purposes there are some writing/printing on the backs, and a little on the fronts. Other minimal signs of wear, very light creating, soft corners, but overall great shape for their age. Close-up: 5.5" x 7.5" Small Susan photo: 4" x 3.25"
