1950’s Vintage Whiting & Davis Envelope Clutch

This is a beautiful vintage Whiting and Davis envelope style mesh clutch bag. Dating is 1950s with its post war made in the USA tag proceeding the earlier 1940’s style wrist pouch but before the 1960s art deco pouches with kiss clasp style closure. The mesh on this bag is in good condition considering its age. There are no missing or loose pieces. The clasp is strong and closes correctly and securely. Bags clasp is missing its center rhinestone. The interior silk lining is not in perfect condition, but it’s free from any large noticeable stains.
