The color of the tourmaline is a piercing aqua color, slightly more green than blue, and simply breathtaking! The tourmaline is in excellent condition as I had the gold polished and the stone re-cut and polished. The tourmaline is 10mm which is approx 3cts! Solid 14k yellow gold. Heavy 8.2grams. @sraeh88 I am so sorry about the late reply. I was on the road traveling earlier. I actually had the ring sized up from a 5 to a size 6. I also had the gemologist that I brought it to write up a short description of the ring which will be included in the purchase. I was going to leave any additional sizing up to the new owner but yes the ring can be sized up to a 7 by any reputable jeweler.

@sraeh88 I apologize but I am going to have to hold off on responding to any offers for a few days because the ring is currently at the jeweler. I had the ring sized up one size from a 5 to a 6. They always do a wonderful job but I'd feel more comfortable having the ring back in hand before I counter or accept an offer. I won't be able to pick the ring up until I return home from vacation on Friday. I will let you know when the ring is available again.

@nubianqueen No worries I completely understand and you are very welcome. I wish I could do better but the gemstone is very rare and just loose on it's own would sell for a minimum of $600+ per carat. I also have the original cost of the ring and the money spent to re-cut and polish the stone which was very expensive so the counter I sent was the very best I could do. I'm very sorry.
