icua410 Wow these are gorgeous! So if these are too big for you? They are definitely going to be big for me
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 way way way way too big. These are like old cut pigalles. I need them in 100mm 37 (impossible to find) or 120mm 36.5 (apparently also impossible to find but the 100mm in these is super super rare so I’ll probably have better luck finding the 120mm 36.5)
Dec 29Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake but they look so new? What year was the shoe out? So confusing with CL sizing?
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 they’re 2010 or older. I’m not exactly sure but I can research it
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 spring/summer 2011 collection... so first sold end of 2010 I think?
Dec 29Reply
icua410
icua410 Wow! They still very brand new! I thought you just bought these? I’m surprised they don’t fit you? That means if I ever get these I’ll have to really make sure before getting these.
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 yeah I got these maybe 2 years ago at the most. I also got them in 37 and 37 is still too big in 120 but I think it would fit in 100. To walk in them I HAVE to stuff the point with cotton and wear forefoot halters and a heel grip. I’m all over the map in louboutin sizing depending on style and how willing I am to stretch pad—anywhere from 36 in really steep pitches to 38.5 in low ones. But most of my best fitting pairs are 37.5
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake So I thought I was safe on these. But nooooooo, way too big. My volcano strassed pair is an old cut Pigalle like these, 120mm, patent. It’s 37 and I’m wearing it with a heel grip and a forefoot halter.
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 so be careful—if you’re getting a Pigalle 2010 or older, I know for sure they run really big compared to what we are used to (lengthwise). But they are still narrow.
Dec 29Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake (I should have been more clear—I got these 2 years ago I think but I am NOT the first owner)
Dec 29Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake hi! I found one like this on another app but it’s a 35.5. It looks like it’s an older model and wanted to know if that would be too small for me. Since 35.5 is a big jump to what I normally wear? What do you think? Please help? I’ve been reading your advice on this particular heels and idk really what size to get?
Feb 10Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 I’m US7 and I will take this in 36.5 for 120. I will try 37 but only in 100mm. I do have patent 120 in 37 with heel grips. All of my follies are 37.5 and fit well except the python light is crazy small for some reason.
Feb 10Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 I will see if I can look up the year that the sizing changed.
Feb 10Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake thank you! You are so much help and always an amazing person!

fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 re those 20ans shoes - they are amazing. but I've been selling them for TWO years, starting with high price as they are collectable. I don't know what's wrong with ppl!!:)
Feb 23Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I’m guessing that people are just thinking they won’t have a place to wear such an embellished style?? They’re almost costume... definitely black tie and not just date. I’ll be honest... haven’t worn mine out. But that’s not a deterrent when it comes to me and shoes! 🤣
Feb 24Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake If they had been my size I’d probably have already bought them before they even got this low but $400??? If they weren’t open toes I’d buy the biggest shoolex insert they make just because THEYRE RED! It’s redonkulously rarer than the white/black and even the all black.
Feb 24Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubchoogirl you should share the pair from tlkstermer... she already sold a fake for $300 and now she’s got another one for $300. Also claiming they’re a new style (not even the same style they’re copying so she’s not even knowledgeable)
Feb 24Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I’m learning, painfully, that other people don’t love shoes as much as I do. I’m willing to pay more to acquire them resale than I probably ought to. I have a few pairs that I’ve already replaced in better sizes & I think I’m just going to donate them to charity & let them deal with the hassle. I can write them off for market value instead of waiting for someone to pay market value. I usually list higher bc they offer like half.
Feb 24Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 forgot to tag you above... I’ve been listing higher to offset the ridiculous offers but maybe I should just list at market price & take away offer option. I guess I could risk listing as auction instead of buy it now.
Feb 24Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake yeah, they are like burlesque or smth like that, but still! I've been selling loubs for several years and there are some things I'll never understand lol. I can sell 5 pairs of same style in a month and stuck with 6th for years. there are some bestsellers but it happens even with some of them (like white spiked pigalle in my closet that sits there for 10 months or so)
Feb 24Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @loubchoogirl keep reporting the ones that you share and that I see myself everyday, but posh doesn't hurry to remove them at all:(
Feb 24Reply
bmw1723
bmw1723 What do you think of my pair? Where would you price them?
Feb 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 hey—I bought a pair of Casadei last night or the day before on eBay for $130 that were listed free shipping. The seller just contacted me and said the listing should have said $20 shipping and that she can either cancel my sale or I can pay her additional $20... I’m a little bit sketched by it.
Mar 09Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I pay shipping for the buyer for my listings—I buy 2-day labels WITH signature/ID required for delivery or pickup AND insurance, and the most I’ve paid is $18 for $650 pair (it’s usually like $12 for $250 pairs) What should I do?? Just pay it? I thought that was kind of against eBay rules to ask buyer to pay a fee outside of the listing?
Mar 09Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I think $20 is steep for $130 shoes... plus I bought using bonus bucks so if I pay this fee separately, I don’t get credit for it toward my bonus bucks. Which, on one hand makes me look stingy but on the other hand, is extra annoying if overpaying for the shipping charge to begin with (depending on point of view) What do you think?
Mar 09Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I mean, I just print my postage from eBay app & I don’t even have to go to the post office to mail it. No hassle, costs me less than what seller is asking, & seller isn’t even specifying whether this will be for expedited shipping/insurance/signature confirmation... just “pay me $20”
Mar 09Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake hi! it's totally unprofessional to do so. but it just depends on how much you want the shoes to deal with such attitude:)
Mar 09Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 well... first she asked me to send her money directly through 🅿️🅿️ & I said it MUST be handled through platform not outside... so then she refunded me & made a new listing. I feel like an a$$ if I don’t buy it immediately BUT since she refunded me I lost my bonus bucks & if I buy now before I have another offer, not only am I paying more than the first time for shipping but I’m also paying more to cover the bonus bucks I lost :(
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 so... I’m thinking about waiting until another offer happens. Or maybe I should stay away... nobody else has the pair though so you and I both know I will buy them lol! Btw, I got navy polish today!! I’ve polished them up. They were in excellent condition to begin w/ but now they look brand spanking new without any of those duller areas!
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake it's a pity you've lost your bucks:( i'm such a lumer in all these bucks btw, i've never had them and never used them lol. where to get them? and re polishing - I polish mine, but never do it for pre-sale, cause I don't want any questions if a buyer sees the signs of polish on wet wipes after cleaning the shoes. they may think I was trying to hide some flaws.
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake only once during all the years eBay gave me free $25 coupon to spend on packaging materials in their store, and I got their Christmas branded tissue paper for free, like 100 sheets or 50, don't remember. it was nice!
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 your buyers need to chill!! How do they think shoes are maintained? Elves magically undo time while they sleep?! Lol! Like I said, they were already in excellent condition & they’re stunning right now. All organic hides need some sort of maintenance or else they will not last. It keeps things supple & prevents cracking (which can’t be fixed).
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake feel like folks that served in military know all about maintaining/polishing boots & how much it stinks to break in new pair (so you do everything you can to take care of them & avoid replacing them!)
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 they really shouldn’t use wet wipes on the exteriors—shnikeys!! Do I just know about leather care bc I grew up on a farm?
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake there are so many weird people so I don't want to give them another reason to be paranoid. I have one case in review now on posh. buyer tells she doesn't believe she shoes are authentic cause my Fifi 100 euro 40 are are smaller then her bianca euro 39. that's why they are fakes lol. like all CL styles should fit the same and if they are not, they are not real!
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 you really need to sign up for bonus bucks. You earn for selling AND buying—obviously I earn mine through buying mostly but someone that has huge inventory like you can reallly make out well. It’s 2% back for everything except when they’re offering extra multipliers (as high as 10%) & it pays our quarterly. The most you can earn back is $100 per transaction or $500 per quarter. I usually get like $200 back which I put toward a pair that I just can’t afford without it.
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake well I do use them sometimes if the shoes are dusty:) not everyday and only the ones without alcohol and not on suede or nappa leather that absorbs all the liquids
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 omg Bianca runs bigger ham Fifi for sure!!! I take my Bianca’s in 36.5 and my Fifi in 37.5!!!
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake yep, and Bianca is wider. hope posh will take my side:) it's a very weird case
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Bianca’s are weird—they are by far the worst pairs I’ve ever owned by CL when it comes to heel slippage. Even the 36.5’s will slip while my toes are all squished.
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake oh really? and I find them quite comfy, especially 120, the ones that I can wear all day long. it's all so tricky with CL
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I hope so too... Fifi 100 is going to feel smaller than a Bianca anyway bc they’re 140 or 160 w/ 20mm platform aren’t they? I’ve never heard of 120 Biancas (then again, maybe I wouldn’t notice if they were available in 120 bc biancas aren’t my fave CL due to my slippage issues)
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake they are rare in 120, like pigalle plato 140. everyone wants them!
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 filo is my absolute favorite. Or the classic/old very Prive. I looooove the slimmer stiletto of new very Prive but they’re really narrow for me & take forever to break in... I have craptons of older very prives or hyper prices and they’re super easy to wear! Unfortunately I work in a lab so no open toe shoes—I have to swap out my shoes at my desk whenever i wear open toes to work.
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake btw I've wanted to ask about your job lol. I remember you're forensic scientist, so are you like Dexter or those other lady from "body of proof" tv show dealing with the bodies??
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I’ve not watched any except dexter & csi. In those they make it much more interesting than reality. They “wear lots of hats” whereas most places IRL it’s very compartmentalized w/out any crossover. I’m strictly in the lab. Never @ scenes or @ OCME. Sometimes I have to pull up crime scene photos or investigator notes to know how to screen evidence or determine CODIS eligibility, but It’s lots more paperwork (and some labwork) than actual evidence interaction.
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake so no dead bodies on the table lol
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I'm watching too many tv shows and so stereotyped. I also love medical shows like grey's anatomy and I may guess my medicine knowledge based on it is also a bit far from reality lol
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 don’t get me wrong, I love what I do & sometimes it is exciting—it’s just probably 75% paperwork (that’s too boring for tv hehe) but to be fair, I’m not a crime scene analyst—just a dna analyst. So I’m like the goofy people they always have randomly worked into scenes taking orders from everyone else and never getting them their results fast enough!! 🤣 which is probably not too far from the truth many times!
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I watch a lot of the non-dramatized crime shoes (the documentary type ones). The best honestly is forensic files on headline news. They’re only 30 minutes, they’re pretty accurate in their explanations of the science. It’s good exposure to scenarios I might not have personally encountered in my own casework or reviewing other analysts work (every DNA case gets reviewed by 2 add’l scientists)
Mar 11Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Lol..: before the iOS update I had trouble w/ autocorrect replacing all my “shoes” w/ “shows” & now I’m having the opposite problem where it’s replacing all my shoes w/ shoes
Mar 11Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake shoes are everywhere! did you remove the post you tagged me in?
Mar 12Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 hey! what's your SK size? Your Bianca's 36.5, right? so weird, one gal messaged me on e bay re sizing advice, and she's 36 in Bianca and 35 in SK, for me the opposite is true
Mar 14Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I’m 36.5 in Bianca 37 if it’s patent only bc patent doesn’t really ease up for me as much as all my python—but I still need a heel grip for it. My so Kate’s are 37.5 and i don’t wear them enough to find out whether I should go down to 37 or not. Is that similar to you?
Mar 14Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Maybe her Bianca isn’t a Bianca? Or her so kate isn’t so kate? There’s some similar styles that someone could mistake for them if they aren’t super hawkish about sikhouettes
Mar 14Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake yes, it's more or less similar. she also says she has narrow feet and it could explain her tts SL fitting, but then she'd need even smaller Bianca:) so weird. maybe she really mixed up the styles
Mar 14Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 * SK fitting, not SL
Mar 14Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 120mm shoe without a platform in size 35 is an INSANE pitch... so she’d definitely have sliding going on and so Kate’s toe is longer than pigalle or follies so if she has narrow feet I could see why she’d really have to size down. The part that confuses me is the Bianca size.
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 by the way I just recommended you to my creme de menthe buyer on eBay. She bought mine for her daughter’s prom and now she’s really into VP. I said that you have huge inventory that changes over frequently in a variety of sizes & everything is really well maintained and absolutely authentic. It’s hard to pry shoes away from me so I figured I’d pass her along to someone I trust to deliver positive experiences
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake It worked out for me—she was pleased. Yay!! Breathing sigh of relief ubtil I have to ship the next pair that sells
Mar 15Reply
loubchoogirl
loubchoogirl @tiffcake I just saw a post on TPF about that VP pair! Funny that they were from you.
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubchoogirl OMG I was soooooo tickled when I saw that!!! Bc I am definitely obsessed w/ my shoes & those were a pair I felt everyone overlooks as too “wild” but they look so special in person. It couldn’t have happened at a better time—I got dragged into some shenanigans.
Mar 15Reply
loubchoogirl
loubchoogirl @tiffcake I think they look amazing, like dragons. I could probably never get away with them but the right person totally could! Hope it wasn’t Vegas shenanigans... or maybe that’s just the right kind of shenanigans lol
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubchoogirl no, never Vegas shenanigans. We have a saying at work: What happens in Vegas ends up on our desks!
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake thank you hun, really appreciate this:)
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 so about fakes on posh. I just got this letter: Dear Fashion victim, We recently implemented a new listing moderation system to ensure that all listings comply with Poshmark guidelines. We are writing to let you know that we have removed your listing, "Louboutin Lapono 120 Ankle Boots Euro 37.5", because it has been identified as counterfeit and/or authenticity cannot be guaranteed.
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 They are 100% authentic lol!! you can find them on my e bay page:) older style, but authentic for sure. and LOTS of fakes on posh are still there no matter how often we report them.. so it means someone reported them more then once, right?
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 I had 2 of them, and I wouldn't be surprised if they removed these ones, https://poshmark.com/listing/Louboutin-Lapono-120-Ankle-Boots-Euro-375-5a47f279d22c66c39888f95e as they do look imperfect, the insole and stuff, older CL sometimes look far from perfect, more handmade job etc, but they removed the other ones, that are in much better condition
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 first time happened to me:) I submit a listing removal appeal, we'll see:)
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 the original older CL’s are sooooo hard to authenticate! Exactly for the reason you stated. As an example, I have FOUR pairs of jaws. All have flaws (different from each other) that wouldn’t be acceptable in the newer productions. But they’re so much more... I don’t know how to describe it... just special. Like owning a one of a kind painting or sculpture.
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I mean, four of the same python version plus one of the cross-cross suede. The python were all made in the same year. They were limited. I’ve got it in white, black, red, and a custom natural color. Every one is slightly different. The silhouettes and materials are all the same but you can’t rely on same construction details/flaws that we would look for in current pairs
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I've sold like 5 or 6 pairs of exactly that style, Lapono, it goes very good. and I know for sure it's authentic and have no doubts in it, with all it's imperfections:) I am sure professional authenticator can see if it's real or not, and I hope there are professionals in posh:)
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I got what you're saying, older ones really look imperfect and sometimes even weird, but still possible to authenticate
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 maybe for that particular pair, pay to get the lollipuff certificate. Or... consign then with TRR or yoogi’s??? You won’t make as much but I think the lollipuff certificate is pricey so I’m not sure if worth it
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake It’s not that expensive if you just get the email response but it’s pricey for them to mail you actual certificate
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I'll sell it anyway - on ebay, tradesy or VC, it's not the point, the point is that they took my authentic listing off:) TRR and yoogi's and fashionfile are a joke with their prices..
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I agree with you—it’s still possible. Just not as many people can. I can only do it with the particular pairs that I know (like jaws) bc I’m not a professional, just a hoarder 🤣 I’m good at pattern recognition thanks to my number idiosyncrasies and forensic discipline, so I can pick things up quickly with some repetition. I think when I retire I want to make shoes... beats LOOKING at the whole internet every night trying to find the pairs I’m stalking 😆
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I can do older ones, but not always can do vintage, those pairs that are even worse than the ones made in 2010ish or so like that Lapono
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 agreed... I shop those places bc I can get things for a steal, meaning it cannot be decent for the person consigning (unless they give massive credits toward purchases??)
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I totally understand your frustration (why I keep my closet in vacation mode—I refuse to compete w/ fakes) eBay is massive and they manage to deal with it. There’s no excuse for posh. They should move toward a process where they have to approve the listings or particular designers before they go public. Would it work 100% if the time? No, but it would cut down lots of problems (too many fakes causes “harassment” vigilantism & crowdsource authentication removes authentic pairs)
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I think maybe it's some kind of revenge in my case. I am trying not to be involved in all these dramas, but sometimes just can't help myself lol
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 that’s a possibility... but you aren’t overactive & I haven’t seen you be unprofessional. I have a sarcastic sense of humor so I could see sometimes how I’m misinterpreted & can admit I should choose my words better & words have consequences. Most ppl stick to the facts & don’t attack the person
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I don’t think you have anything to worry about. These people that feel attacked, I’m not negating their feelings but sometimes they cause the escalation. Nobody is calling out authentic pairs. I silently report. That’s it. Unless they lie. Then I say something. Usually I tag them on MY OWN listing instead of theirs. And I only ask others to REPORT (not harass) if it’s a pair getting relisted/super risky. I do help buyers.
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I also ask for help myself. This most recent “event” I wasn’t even part. The person that feels victimized made a mistake and tagged ME on someone else’s. I corrected her misinformation on her tag. She took offense and got feisty. I looked at everything and I didn’t see anything too bad. Maybe some ppl crossed a line but I didn’t see name calling or slurs
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 Thanks for your email and patience. After reviewing this appeal, we have determined that this listing was incorrectly removed by our moderation system. We sincerely apologize for this error and have reinstated this listing.
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake one fake seller tagged me at loubchoogirl post, did you see? like she tried to excuse herself using me and my low prices / flash sales as an example. I first agreed like yes, low price is not always a symptom, but then I saw her closet full of fakes lol
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 that’s fantastic news!!!! Ok, it makes me feel slightly better than when you do get through to a person, they are making correct choices (except that time I repeatedly tried to get a user’s porn hub link removed—apparently they don’t have any time or understanding to correct that!)
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 I think I know which person you mean @ I think thats’s the same that tagged me incorrectly too. I couldn’t make her understand that folks arent saying it bc of the price but rather bc of the items themselves. Also couldn’t make her understand that yes sometimes photos are sufficient but in many cases they are & that there’s no merit whatsoever whether or not the packaging/sku’s since they’re not part of the item & get separated all the time (real in fake & fake in real)
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake aye yae yae... the more you try to help the madder some ppl get
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake My editing to pass character limit wasn’t correct... and I’m still having trouble with autocorrect switching my poorly typed affirmative words/contraction into negative words/contractions. I just need to get a bigger phone (or pay better attention)
Mar 15Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake I'm sure she understands everything and knows exactly what she's doing. i think so about 95% of fake sellers. they can tell anything in their defense, but in most cases they just know. and the ones who say "it's a present and I don't know if it's real". cmon, of course you know, in other case you'd never try to let it go for a pocket change.
Mar 15Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I bought the fake anemone 🤮🤣 if posh wont do anything to prevent people from listing fakes & claiming they’re authentic, I’ll just keep buying them and have concierge deal with it!
Mar 16Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake hahahahaha! I almost did the same thing! They’re so bad!
Mar 16Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @fashion_victim9 hey, thanks for speaking up about that older blue satin pair... I didn’t see any red flags but I didn’t say anything b/c I don’t know older styles as well & plus Morgan already said fake. I thought the outsoles looked real bc I could see the wrinkles/cracks in them like the old ones had from shaping process (I don’t like to voice an opinion though unless I actually am confident).
Mar 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I don’t know how to describe it but usually in the outsole’s curve transitioning between stiletto & rest of foot there’s wrinkling where it bunches up. I’d say that majority of my pairs produced before 2013 all have it. It’s honestly a super easy way to tell plastic from leather
Mar 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake (I think one of the criticisms was the sole’s appearance and I honestly thought that the sole’s appearance was GOOD)
Mar 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I just reread it—it was insole (not outsole). My old greissimo and VP and jaws have larger stamps & slightly different placements compared to my new pairs, so that didn’t look off to me either. But I didn’t know what they SHOULD look like with any confidence.
Mar 27Reply
fashion_victim9
fashion_victim9 @tiffcake hi! I just feel sorry about those seller who was accused in selling fakes. I was sure it's real so I decided to share my opinion. noone liked it I think if I had no answer

tiffcake @donahoukaylan I’m sorry my news feed was delayed. I really hope these will fit you. These fit larger than other louboutin I own and on top of that, I now know that I much prefer my 120’s to fit VERY tight compared to my 100’s
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake If they don’t fit you, you will be able to resell them, no problem. They’re very sought-after and even though they do become available from time-to-time, they sell super quickly (I missed out on a couple pairs by hesitating)

tiffcake @donahoukaylan I do see replacement spikes for sale on eBay from time to time but there are some different sizes for different shoes. The tricky part is finding a cobbler to replace them—most cobblers protest doing it bc they don’t know how w/out hammering/flattening the point. But there are cobblers that specialize in louboutin restoration (like leather spa in NYC)
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan also Pasquale’s in LA (I don’t know much about them though). Leather spa has an online form to get a quote & you can ship them there/back. It’s quite expensive but they legit work miracles so if you ever do something horrendous definitely try them before you give up. I don’t think the cost from them for spike replacement would be much different whether you had the spare spikes or not

tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan I’ve never knocked any spikes off my CL pairs... other designers yes but not CL. I’ve seen them missing though from other sellers

tiffcake @donahoukaylan fashionvictim is hands down one of my favorite sellers. She always has a huge inventory in many different styles/sizes and it turns over pretty frequently. Everything is in the top condition or at least only minor/repairable condition. She’s not someone who’s just a collector like me—she’s an actual professional seller.
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan those are “mount street” from spring/summer 2009 collection If they’re big on you I’m very anxious to hear how the Lucifer works for you. You are DEFINITELY going to need modifications.
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan yeah... I don’t sell on posh anymore (just buy) bc I refuse to compete with counterfeits. Ppl wanna don’t want to pay even $300 but they’ll fork over $250 for a fake? Give me a break... no.
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I still post all my new pairs in case someone needs help ID’ing or sizing... and frankly I enjoy collecting and don’t really have those kinda “shoe friends” locally so I gossip/chitchat about shoes here hehe
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan no problem at all!! I looooooooove shoe talk!!
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan I just checked mine (I wanted to ensure these were workable so you could cancel in time if unrealistic) My Black 120 is 37 & fits great w/ S shoolex & heel grip. Bc of the mods, I just purchased my nude version (from Spain) in 36.5 but it hasn’t yet arrived. I’m US7. If you’re same you can get the 37.5 to work but you’re probably also gonna need the halter. That might make the toebox snug if you’re not narrow. So stretch width slightly if needed. But it’s gonna be workable!!! 😘
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @donahoukaylan I also checked that the M shoolex is too large. These show lots of toe cleavage so you definitely couldn’t get anything bigger than 37.5 to work bc the length would be too long & they’re too low to use anything else to take up the length other than the S memory foam (its $14 I think on amazon)
Apr 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake The Lucifer is heavier leather than my mixed pigalle spikes & those are the ones that lead me to believe my ideal old-cut pigalle size is a stretched 36
Apr 27Reply
allissat
allissat @tiffcake did you get your shoes from luxry4cash yet?
Apr 28Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @allissat no—so after I bought them their closet was shut down, like maybe an hour later. So I canceled the transaction since they were already shut down. But now they are back up again so I’ll try again!
Apr 28Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire just received the nude lucifers from Spain... 36.5 fits perfectly w/ some room to pad the insole—I got soooooo lucky to buy them before anyone else. Thanks again!! 😘
Apr 30Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake I just took a gamble after reading (and rereading) all this... I bought a pair on eBay a size and a half down from my usual size! Don't know if they'll work out or not, but for $400 I thought it worth trying. I've got stretchers and I'm not afraid to use them lol!
May 24Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I’m US7 & now I have 120 in black 37 & pumice 36.5... 36.5 fits me better than 37 and I could do 36 no problem. I’d need to stretch only bc they’re narrow—I wouldn’t need to stretch length. And I agree... you can try to make them work or resell them. They always sell quickly and for prices higher than $400 ‘fo’sho!!! Congrats!!!
May 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire they leather is pretty thick on them so they might put up a fight!! But you’re Texan so I know you’ll mess with ‘me right back!! 🤣
May 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Autocorrect fails... they’re... ‘em... and many more I’m sure hehehe
May 25Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake Haha! They’re actually the denim version, so they may not be that ornery. We’ll see!
May 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire wha what?! That’s awesome! Didn’t even know it existed! I can’t wait to see them—you were smart to jump on them!
May 25Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake Will do! If they don’t work out for me I’m sure you could help me find them a new home. Should have them Tues or Wed. Only time I hate long weekends is when I’m waiting for shoes!
May 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I just googled them (and ogled them) they are better than the white ones!! I’m really jealous. Really nice score!

tiffcake @cadillacclaire the scales are starting to lift but I think I got them in time for angelus conditioner to work it’s magic
Jun 22Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake Glad you got your scarabee! Do you happen to know anything about the sizing for the Lucifer Bow flats? I've found a pair that probably won't fit, but that's what I thought about the 120s lol! If not do you think they're at all popular for resale?
Jul 05Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I don’t know anything about the flats. I do have the kitten heel version—I think it’s 45mm. They’re size 38 and too big for me. I’m off today so I’ll go try them on and measure insole length for you.
Jul 05Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake In general I think that lower heels/flats sell for lower prices bc ppl want the sky high... but I’ve never before seen them which means they’re rare and/or whoever owns them do not resell them (usually means they are well-liked) but honestly maybe sellers like fashion_victim9 would know more (I buy lots, don’t sell much)
Jul 05Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake I did get those nude Lucifers! I am trying not to get my hopes up, as I’m half expecting the sale to get cancelled so she can sell them for more. It’s been that kind of a week!
Jul 13Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire just comment how excited you are and that you’ve been looking for a long time and you can’t wait. Sow the guilt seeds! And if she cancels, check eBay to see if she lists there. She’ll get 10% more and you can come up a bit and you’ll still be protected.
Jul 13Reply

cadillacclaire @tiffcake Good idea! Totally did, hope you don’t mind me tagging you in it ;)

Jul 14Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire i think they’ll fit you well too with some stretching! My pair is 36.5 and I could go down to 36 (im US7)

cadillacclaire I saw these and thought of you: https://www.vestiairecollective.com/women-shoes/heels/christian-louboutin/gold-glitter-pigalle-plato-christian-louboutin-heels-5988943.shtml Did you already have these? Can't remember who has what these days!
Jul 17Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I can’t copy paste on the iPhone app but if they’re the volcano pigalili Plato I don’t have them bc seller never shipped. But I need them in 36.5 or 36 If they’re the metal nodo, I don’t have those either but I think they fit like old Pigalles so I’d need those in 36 or 36.5 also 😔 Do you happen to know how they run? There’s a 36 on eBay I’ve been watching but they’re $1500 😑
Jul 18Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire They’re the Pigalili Plato Volcano Strass, but they’re a 37. Bummer! If you know anyone who’s looking for them pass it on. They’re asking $680 which seems quite fair.
Jul 18Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I paid like $6something on VC and she never shipped and wouldn’t respond to weekly messages. On VC you have to wait A MONTH for seller to ship before you can get your money back. Makes posh’s weeklong wait seem fair! LOL
Jul 18Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire @tiffcake Ugh! That sucks. I've purchased twice on VC and had a good experience both times. I'll never understand people who list then never ship...
Jul 18Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire the worst part is that I made an offer and she accepted it!! Just don’t accept if you won’t ship! Lol
Jul 18Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire Well, that's crappy. Apparently on VC the discounted shipping that's part of the membership is considered a 'promotion' so can't be combined with other codes. So you can either have the cheap shipping OR the 10% off or whatever they're running. That's pretty rotten.
Jul 20Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire that’s crappy fo’ ‘sho!!! I always have problems using discount codes with them in the first place. They send me codes in email and when I try to use them it says they aren’t applicable in my region. I’ve never been able use any codes successfully except the “first purchase” code so.... maybe we ought to try registering new email addresses with them each time we want to make a pricey purchase and use a nearby friend/relative address if necessary :)
Jul 21Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire Weird! I did manage to use a $50 off coupon this time, so with the shipping it was ten buck less than the listing price. But it certainly changed my mind about the membership option. I’ll pass.
Jul 21Reply

tiffcake @cadillacclaire do you happen to know what style anjalina 100 is based upon? It has a slim stiletto like follies but the toebox is longer. It’s not 554 either. It’s similar to my apostrophy/Zappa but not sure what those are based upon either (and totally not same stiletto as anjalina obvi) so maybe I’m completely incorrect.
Sep 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire if I knew what it was based upon I’d know a little better how to predict size. Plus... I’m so unfamiliar with them so I didn’t know if they’re like degraspike/degrastrass where the 100 is based on one silhouette and the 120 is another??? I think those are 554 & so Kate in respective heights
Sep 26Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire From what I've found it looks like it's based on a So Kate. The 120 version was just a dressed up version of SK, according to the info on TPF (orig form CL site though). Looking at the current pics on the CL site of the Anjalina toebox next to the pics of SK they look very, very similar. I'm afraid I don't have any first hand experience with them.
Sep 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @cadillacclaire I see so kate toebox influence but... was very confused bc so kate doesn’t come in anything f except 120
Sep 27Reply
cadillacclaire
cadillacclaire The So Kate booties are 100's so they might have made a SK 100 last. Don't know for sure though.

tiffcake @cadillacclaire mine are 37 and I pad them... the 36.5 in nude fits much better... shnikeys!!! I’m probably gonna buy them when they drop price and sell the 37’s (it will be the second time I’m selling Lucifers)

Dec 03Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @aeriell1 so you’re looking for a feticha to fit size 9? I think you may need it in 40–I’m not 100% sure though bc I’m size 7 and I don’t have any feticha pairs at the moment. Have you ever shopped at The RealReal? They always have 20% off code or you can wait for items to go one sale 25% off or more... I’ll go do a quick search for you (searching size 9.5 & 10 to get 39.5’s & 40’s) lemme know if you aren’t a 9
