"Inspired" means an original, created with reference to something, usually out of deference. It implies a new twist born out of creativity. Sadly, many poshers want to sell you "inspired" items which are in truth, COUNTERFEIT. Counterfeits originate from bottom-feeders not only duplicating or replicating an original design, they are desperate knock-offs further cheapened by falsely bearing the original designer's copyrighted trademarkings. Buy a replica for cheap BUT NEVER BUY A COUNTERFEIT!

tiffcake @morgan415 I've been reporting the fake Greissimo dtmd2lg has listed with no luck whatsoever. She keeps dropping the price on them so I'm scared someone will eventually bite and buy them.

tiffcake Closing my closet due to rampant illegal counterfeit sales. There's misunderstandings & escalation when we look out for each other--some feel bullied & some are bullied. None of it needs to or would happen if posh enforced their own community guidelines. Plus the pervy wackadoos have really ruined it for me & posh's lack of support blocking pornographic hyperlinks depicting explicit images of genitals, sex acts, and derogatory slurs against women has turned me sour.

tiffcake @icua410 thanks for sharing those but I'm only interested in buying authentic. I have no problem buying/wearing copied styles or inspired styles (like the Jessica Simpson or Aldo version of a designer style) but NEVER anything that illegally bears the designer's trademarkings (marked mcqueen or Saint Laurent or louboutin on the shoe but NOT manufactured by the designer--fake).
May 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 The fake ones "look" ok to some people but they aren't the same thing. If I were a designer I'd be very angry that someone used MY LABEL to make themselves money! :)
May 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Plus... it's truly illegal to sell them so no matter what it's not ok for poshmark to profit from these sales. That's essentially the same thing as poshmark taking profits from people selling drugs illegally, or guns illegally, or rhino horn illegally, or stolen belongings illegally. The difference is the brand markings. It's not illegal to copy something that isn't copyrighted but it's illegal to mark them as something they aren't. Like buying beef from the store but it's really opossum!
May 26Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake yeah I wanted for you to see if you notice the difference or not too. It is a big difference

tiffcake
tiffcake My dad would think that is funny. I grew up in Pennsylvania and we ate squirrels BUT NEVER groundhogs or opossums!
May 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 oooooooohhh!! I misunderstood you!! My apologies. Yes--to me those don't look authentic either. But I wouldn't have always been able to tell.
May 26Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake lol no worries! Remember the lady I asked help authenticate and came back at us. I was saying if you look really close it's looks very similar. Even the red are different. Also look at the toe platform it doesn't form that triangle shape. Hey who knows that's just my opinion. Anyway just thought I'd share with you!
May 26Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake also yes with the meat thing yeah totally different texture. So far I've tried squirrels but not those other meat...hahaha
May 26Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake this is very true too. As long as they get their profit, sometimes they won't back you up! That's sad!
May 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @icua410 that last one looks fake too. I actually own a couple Follies pairs so those aren't that bad for me. I have trouble with the old styles. They have lots more variation.
May 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Except jaws. I have four of those, one in every color (two are rare) and a custom order. The only old pair I'm super confident about!
May 26Reply
icua410
icua410 @tiffcake I know! They all looks so darn close to each other! It's insulting to Christian Louboutin! Honestly to me there's not other heels that comes close to as sexy and beautiful as his and they way he design his shoes!

tiffcake @pjcribari those black patent "louboutin so Kate's" you just bought are fake, absolutely no doubts about it--if you were already aware and were ok with whatever price you paid, then my apologies for sticking my nose into your business. But if you didn't know and aren't ok with it, then cancel your purchase... I'm very sorry that it happened.
Jul 30Reply
pjcribari
pjcribari @tiffcake How do you know?
Jul 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @pjcribari they have the incorrect silhouette, materials, stitching... fake bag and spare taps in plastic... I don't have Patent so Kate's but I do have snake skin. If it helps, I can take pics in the same positions of mine in a new listing and tag you so you can see the differences. Then I'll delete afterward so we aren't shaming the seller. Maybe she doesn't even know herself and got scammed too.
Jul 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @pjcribari or... you can also wait until you receive them and open a claim with poshmark. It's illegal for them to allow counterfeit sales so they will refund you.
Jul 30Reply
pjcribari
pjcribari @tiffcake I see what you are saying about the appearance. I have contacted Posh Support to cancel my order. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. I'm not sure what else to do. Thank you for contacting me. I truly appreciate it. I just hope I can get my money back.
Jul 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @pjcribari you will absolutely get your money back. If for some insane reason you don't, file a claim with your credit card to stop payment. Counterfeits are illegal. Posh doesn't do anything to prevent the sales unless enough people report them but at least they refund buyers if the buyer figures out that they were sold fakes
Jul 30Reply
pjcribari
pjcribari @tiffcake Unfortunately I used money in my account from my sales. Thank you again for contacting me. I'm fairly new to Poshmark and a little naive. I appreciate your help 😊
Jul 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @pjcribari I'm so so so sorry it happened to you--glad to help! You'll get your money back--don't give up the fight until you do. You're in the right. Seller might not know herself--she could have been a victim too. Good luck!!
Jul 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @carlacera could you help by reporting those fake nude so Kate's with the damages that you commented on? Poshmark won't remove fake listings until enough unique users report them--I keep reporting them for replicas and off PM transactions but nothing happens. I commented since poshmark won't remove them but she deleted them immediately to hide my comment, blocked me, and relisted them.
Aug 19Reply
poshorpass
poshorpass @tiffcake she blocked me too lol

tiffcake
tiffcake @rachael020 no problem at all--it happens to everyone, unfortunately. We have to look out for each other!
Aug 20Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @rachael020 no need to be embarrassed! It happens to all of us. Thankfully, the lesson was learned by your friend--otherwise I would say to fight fight fight and get as nasty as you needed to get your money back! :) I've been super super lucky because I had help in the beginning... I could never afford the hoard that I have at full retail and if I didn't have help buying resale, I'd have gotten scammed for sure!
Aug 20Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @daris515 did you buy that nude/red pair of louboutin? Despite what the seller is saying they are counterfeit. I don't know who bought them but wanted to warn you if you did so you could get your money back. I've been reporting them but posh never removed them so someone bought them :(
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @bizzy86 saw you were interested a men's/women's bundle... I don't know anything about louboutin sneakers but I know that women's pair is fake. Not even a question. That is a lot of money to pay if both are fake. The seller says they're all authentic and only wants people to buy off posh so you wouldn't be protected to return them if sneakers are also fake. Just wanted to give you a head's up discreetly
Aug 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @momo_lil that pair of nude "louboutin so kates" in horrendous condition for $300 is a fake pigalle. She keeps relisting them whenever they get taken down by posh and she also blocks whoever comments on them, deletes the listing, and realists them whenever someone calls her out. It sounds like you already know what's up and smelled the rat, but just wanted to let you know your instincts were right and stay far far away :)
Aug 30Reply
momo_lil
momo_lil @tiffcake thank you 😊 I figured when she would avoid the obvious question
Aug 30Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @leovilanova1 those black and white pairs of louboutin imperas are fake--the cutouts aren't even close to resembling the true pattern's precision. I'd venture a guess that the photos are dim to attempt disguising their counterfeit appearance but maybe she just doesn't know she bought fakes if she bought them second hand. I reported them but I'm tagging you on my own listing to save you from buying counterfeit pairs since it takes forever for posh to remove counterfeit listings

loubielovah
loubielovah Will you let @thriftblessed know the Loubs listed are fake? Someone tagged me to my opinion, but they deleted the listing and blocked me before I got To inform them. Thanks!
Sep 27Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubielovah I let her know by tagging her on one of my old sold listings--that why I could let her know privately and hopefully not tick her off and make her defensive. But also reported them. Posh used to automatically remove listings that had enough reports from separate users (each user only counted once no matter if they reported it a million times) but I have no idea how they do it now with ppl reviewing
Sep 28Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubielovah they always ask me to review Tory burch and Louis Vuitton (I know absolutely nothing about them so I can't render an opinion either way)
Sep 28Reply
loubielovah
loubielovah @tiffcake I noticed that listings aren’t really deleted as quickly. Sucks! But feel free to ask me about LV. Don’t know that much about Tory tho. 👌🏽

loubielovah
loubielovah I made ONE comment. 😅😅 people are crazyyyyy
Oct 12Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loubielovah I’m usually tactful—Tag fake seller on my own buried listing to discuss discreetly rather than crapping on theirs. But I took offense to her saying she couldn’t possibly be selling fake bc she’s “in fashion” while saying someone else calling her out is full of crap bc they “aren’t in fashion” (felt I had to defend people pointing out the OBVIOUS) Wtf is this commission for finders? I wouldn’t pay someone commission for delivering fakes to me. What’s commission on $50? 50 cents? 🤣
Oct 12Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake Meh.
Oct 12Reply
loubielovah
loubielovah I try to be discreet, esp if its obvious that they don't realize it, but some people just KNOW and don't care to lie about it. But right, this one was delusional.

juzthings
juzthings @tiffcake Im over this site for the expensive, suppose to be authentic and Im tired of fighting with posh. I think if we buy something and feel its not authentic we should be able to return it. Im just saying. And then too, some of these prices are crazy. Might as well go to the store and get it new.
Oct 22Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @gurlplz I can understand. I buy way way too much and I couldn’t afford it if I bought it all retail. BUT I had to do a years worth of research to be able to buy things resale safely. And whenever there’s a new style I’m interested in I have to start all over. Posh is profiting from counterfeits. I wouldn’t be able to buy from posh without help from other people
Oct 23Reply
juzthings
juzthings @tiffcake Its like they are protecting the counterfeits and we honest sellers/buyers are getting screwed. Its like if we buy something we have to automatically have to file claim just to make sure if under 500.00. Im sure people have bought alot of fake stuff thinking its real.
Oct 23Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @gurlplz completely agree. Posh seems to be ok as long as they get their 20% cut. I’m a shoe hoarder so I’m pretty good at authenticating the shoes by now. I’m about to start diving into handbags and I’m in way way over my head. I don’t trust posh at all. eBay has WAY more to watch over and they remove fakes immediately after reports. There’s no excuses for posh

tiffcake RANT: a poofy clown shoe/foot boat that looks like a 1940’s Bakelite butter dish and costs $20 to manufacture in China including the child slave labor wages does NOT magically increase to a $500 valuation because it bears the fake markings of a designer. Keep your plastic bedazzled trash. I’ll save my pennies and spend $100-200 more and buy a brand new pair or wait a hot minute and pay $350-400 for the real deal resale.

tiffcake
tiffcake Counterfeits are used to launder money for all sorts of heinous criminal enterprises like terrorism and sex trafficking. Be classy, not trashy. We all start somewhere and should strive to do better and be better. People who know the difference between authentic and counterfeit can’t be fooled by “they were a gift” (fake merchandise SCREAMS fake to those who invest time educating themselves)
Dec 02Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake There’s no shame in asking for help or accepting help—I ask for help ALL THE TIME and also welcome second third and fourth opinions! But people that try to pass off fakes as authentic or pretend they’re unsure about authenticity or don’t actually know anything authenticity and get overly defensive when folks try to educate them should be ashamed. RANT OVER

tiffcake @katiekhaos if you see a pair over $500 that you’d like to nominate for the “experiment” give me the seller info here. Looking for a pair I can buy that will force the headquarters authentication to see whether they get returned vs confiscated. The only way we will know is if seller relists so it has to be a very thirsty seller That would relist if posh returned to them, over $500
Mar 06Reply
katiekhaos
katiekhaos @tiffcake absolutely! This is the best!
Mar 06Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @katiekhaos the only pairs I can tell on my own whether they’re authentic or counterfeit are some louboutin, dior, McQueen. My Saint Laurent and Gucci I had to have authenticated at the purse forum. I just don’t know enough. But I’m excited. This is going to be a fun experiment!
Mar 06Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @katiekhaos experiment update: made about a dozen purchases about only a handful followed through shipping. All shipped were correctly ID’d by concierge. All sellers’ closets were suspended—some temporarily for 24hrs others permannently. Not sure if permanency is due to lack of follow-through on seller to reinstate or if due to repeated offenses

Aug 18Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy meant ship *back* their fakes She will be suspended for a day if she pays to get them back but I’m unsure how long if she just says screw it. The best was when someone called her out and she tried to post an example of a fake vs real stamp and they called her out again so she changed them to vintage 😝 I have authentic pairs w/ vero cuoio younger than 15 so I don’t think that was good advice but she took it and ran with it hahaha

tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy you mean 5th anniversary of your 29th!! I forget that people come here to celebrate things—I feel so spoiled living here. I take it for granted/don’t really take advantage of it. I’m not certain by any measure but guessing they fit like older Pigalles. And I can honestly admit I can walk better stuffing my feet into pairs too small than even slightly big if 120mm. I have a pair of metal lips in 36 (tiny) But they stay on!!! Just use some spray ahead of time & they’ll be fine

You know if you're in the 120 club we're PROS! 😉 A couple years ago I wore my door knock for 8 hours straight walking all around LV and then dancing my ass off. And then upon arrival home an immediate trip to my cobbler. 🤗

Aug 25Reply
howdyhowdyhowdy
howdyhowdyhowdy @tiffcake yep Old pigalle. I wear 39 in NPVs a 38.8 in anything new in kid leather a 39 in anything new patent leather and a 38 in old pigalle. I have Lucifer in 38 my Love Me are 38.5 and a little big should have gone 38 (also cut like old pigalle) I'm in LOVE with them! I'll post a pic and tag you sometime this weekend. 😍🥰

tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy I’m extremely jealous but extremely happy for you also. Maybe I’ll have better luck finding/affording them on VC ($1500+ on eBay). @fashion_victim9 has a potpourri ring strass Yolanda coming up for sale soon that I’m going to try to jump on but I have anxiety worrying it’s gonna be big (it’s 38)

howdyhowdyhowdy @tiffcake I got mine for $1000 which seemed high however they are my unicorn pair. There are a couple more I'd love to own. A pair of nude pigalle Platos in 140. There is a pair here I'm watching. My wallet just hurts a little and a pair of pigalle ring strass like the SATC ones. 😍 I have a very very small collection but all timeless and all pairs that I could NEVER EVER part with. Now if I could just convince my husband to let me convert the guest room into a fancy closet 🥰
Aug 25Reply
howdyhowdyhowdy
howdyhowdyhowdy @tiffcake and thank you so much! I'll keep an eye out for you. Do you need 36.5 or 37?
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy in the metal nodo I think I’ll be 36.5 it a stretched 36–they’re only 120mm correct? Now if I could find such a thing in 100 in 36.5 that would be amazing!! But not gonna happen bc it probably doesn’t exist. My nude kucifer 120 is 36.5 and it works but if they were broken in I’d need a pad.
Aug 25Reply
howdyhowdyhowdy
howdyhowdyhowdy @tiffcake👀👓 I'll keep my eyes open! I wanted nude lucifers for FOREVER but after I found my black ones I figured I could look for a different pair. Cadillac Claire beat me to the ones that were here a few weeks ago. I took it as a sign that it was time to move on from them. 😁
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy they will become available eventually if you’re vigilant. The trend that I’ve noticed is that all the pairs at the top of my list become available around the same time, and usually JUST after I’ve dropped a ton of cash on other things. I’ve always spent a lot on shoes while I’m working lots of overtime but there was a 2 month period where several pairs became available that in total made me scared/blush. But it was years of searching so I had to buckle up.
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @howdyhowdyhowdy you’re smarter than me—just splurging when you need to. I buy too many. Then once I have them I don’t like to part ways with them. I have two of many of the pairs—usually bc one is a better fitting size but now I’m starting to get reluctant to get rid of the poor size bc “it’s backup” (I seriously just need to clean house... I have so many pairs that I “lose” pairs on the regular and it takes me weeks to find them again bc I didn’t put them back into the correct location.)
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake I mean, cull the herd. The house is clean but I don’t have enough room to store/display and I haven’t for a long time. I have tons of cheap pairs too that I’m just so reluctant to give away.
Aug 25Reply
howdyhowdyhowdy
howdyhowdyhowdy @tiffcake there are worse things to splurge on ;) I'm in general a minimalist. 😁 I get overwhelmed when there is too much stuff surrounding me so I try to just buy what I absolutely love. Plus I don't have the kind of money to splurge TOOOOO much.
Aug 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @angelbabie those white loubs you’ve been contemplating where seller won’t take less than $300 but doesn’t know authenticity bc they’re a “gift” ?? They’re fake. Your instincts are correct. They’re copying a style called Pigalle follies (only$695 retail, not $1200 seller claims) and they’re a pretty decent looking replica but they still aren’t authentic.
Aug 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @angelbabie I’m sorry for sticking my nose in your business—just wanted to lend you a hand & let you know your instincts are correct. They are intact definitely counterfeit. If you still want them that’s your business—just pay a price that you’re comfortable paying for replicas. I’m tagging you here bc I don’t want drama w/ seller. I have my own ways of dealing with bad sellers by buying the fakes at $500 & letting posh suspend them upon inspection. I put my money where my mouth is I guess.
Aug 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @kailahskloset I will help you find authentic white PF... those are fake... and pretty sure she knows her game. So I’m trying to buy them for $500 so posh suspends her. Posh doesn’t respond to reports in a timely manner so that’s the only way I can get these losers out of the marketplace to make it safer. Are you looking for 100mm or 120?
Aug 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @kailahskloset have you seen “AB” white patent yet? I haven’t seen it in Pigalle follies but I have in Fifi 100 and so kate and it’s gorgeous!!! It’s like white but has a translucent rainbow sheen like the AB crystals. I don’t much like patent but I love the white AB 😍
Aug 26Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @mrselliot @paulah121 @allissat I put $500 offer on kskinner fake declic so if she accepts/ships she’ll get suspended. I also got the fake guerillas shipped so that seller is gone soon too. I’ve been spending more on posh getting fakes confiscated than I have on my usual shoe habit!! I mean, It’s astonishing how many sellers I get kicked off swearing their crap is authentic. You’d think posh would learn there’s a problem that they could prevent bc I can only do it if I can man them $500+
Aug 28Reply
allissat
allissat @tiffcake I love that you do that, I wish there was a more permanent solution! Posh needs to add an option(even 25$) to have any item authenticated;refunded if its fake, and they will see how big the problem really is when it costs them money. There are sooo many fake Burberry, LV, and CLs that get sold for under 500$, and people don't know how to tell. The site should protect them.
Aug 28Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @firepalate that sunflower seller has 3 pairs of horrible fakes listed as “rare” & “authentic” & “gifts” so I tried to buy suede pair for $500 (I put my money behind my big mouth & buy the fakes for $500 bc when they go to concierge they get suspended unless they pay posh to ship back their crap... at any given time I’ve got 4 or 5 fakes sitting on my credit card to kick them off posh)

tiffcake @cityflat I am not a pro but I have a large collection of CL and definitely can spot some fakes. There’s some ladies on here that I trust that I can always ask whenever I’m unsure before I purchase. There’s also free authentication assistance through the Louboutin shopping sub form of “the purse forum” If you see a judgy monacle 🧐 that’s my snarky (but not impolite) signal its a fake hehe

jackeesimpkins Thanks for doing this❤️💋🙏. I HATE fakes- It makes my blood boil! It drives me crazy when it is obvious and the seller gets angry at you when you try to point it out. 😡🤬
Nov 03Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @jackeesimpkins I’d like to think that most sellers don’t know, or are themselves victims. So I won’t pounce on them. I quietly report. I comment a judgy monacle emoji 🧐 if they claim authentic in description or comments. Sometimes I tag them on my own listing to explain bc I’m really not trying to cause them grief in their closet. But I’m also a bit of “reap what you sow” jerk and I buy them for $500+ if they have closet full of fakes. They go to headquarters, I get $ back, & they get suspended
Nov 03Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @jackeesimpkins they have to reimburse posh for the shipping to headquarters & pay to ship back to them. If they don’t pay, they stay suspended & at least lose their fakes (even if they create another account). Their suspension is temporary if they pay... so I only get one chance to do it

ctryon Haha. That girl prevented me from commenting. Was going to mention that there is proof- just look at the photos.

tiffcake @ctryon they’re so obvi fake. The reason why I’m pissy about it bc she’s lying saying she bought at them at a boutique here in town. That’s a scammer. That isn’t someone that got tricked on posh & is innocently reselling. I don’t pretend to have seen every pair for sale here but I’ve got almost 500 pairs of heels in my collection so I’m not wannabe loser buying alibaba fakes & lying to resell them either

ctryon @tiffcake That lady is crazy. She blocked me after I made that comment to you. She is obviously a scammer. There is another guy on here selling fake So Kate’s. He got so mad and said that they were real and he was standing next to his girlfriend at Nordstrom while she bought them. Must be the season- people looking to scam others and make money for the holidays

tiffcake
tiffcake @ctryon so on the so kate pair I didn’t comment bc I actually put in a $500 offer to get him booted. If I comment I get blocked & that means I can’t even submit an offer. Which is what I should have done with her also (not comment except to get her to list for $500 so I could buy)
Nov 14Reply
ctryon
ctryon @tiffcake Wow you put in an offer? What happened? I haven’t looked back on that girl’s pair she got in Vegas, but I did notice someone asked when she got them. Will have to check and see if she replied- since they have the old school stamp on the bottoms

ctryon
ctryon Said she bought them in 2010

tiffcake @ctryon they’re supposed to be a studded VP but VP & follies are my wheelhouse. I have more of them than other CL style.

tiffcake @ctryon I don’t buy the whole vero cuoio I only in pairs pre-2007 thing... I have 3 pairs of python jaws (they’re basically a special edition VP) and I have it in all 4 colors, including color only available outside US. They all have vero cuoio & I’m pretty sure it became first available in December 2008. I think 2007ish is a good theory but somehow that theory has become law & I don’t think it’s accurate (at least not for 4 pairs in my collection)

tiffcake 4 pairs... sorry that doesn’t make sense. I was typing fast on iPhone. I haven’t received notification they’ve accepted the offer but here’s what happens. Usually they ignore it and block me. Maybe half accept but only half of those that accept will actually ship to headquarters. If it ships to headquarters, they will be suspended 24hrs & can reimburse posh to return ship. If they don’t pay, they stay suspended.

tiffcake @ctryon kiss is incorrect. There is VP spikes. They just aren’t very appealing. The spike pattern is kinda lame. But that pair for sale isn’t them. They’re fake AF.
Nov 14Reply
ctryon
ctryon @tiffcake Yeah I have heard 2007 and 2009. Either way we know that they aren’t real! I hope her listing gets removed quickly so no one buys them

ctryon @tiffcake It is interesting how people are intentionally lying about their shoes- yet don’t realize that there are people out there that have many pairs of these shoes, or know a lot about them. People like that are scum. Lying to take someone’s money.

tiffcake @loulove22 I’m reaching out to you here on my own listing to help you (not commenting on seller’s listing bc I don’t want to cause her drama) The black patent Pigalle you just bought for $200 is counterfeit. It’s probably too late to cancel the sale but when you receive them you can open a case with posh to get your money back. I can help you provide the proof for the case. If you know they’re fake & are ok paying that price for it, then please forgive me for reaching out.

loulove22
loulove22 @tiffcake thank you so much and I really hope you’re wrong. I will be pissed. And yes, I will reach out to you for help if need be! I appreciate you reaching out❤️
Nov 25Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @loulove22 yes, no doubts whatsoever on those. Open the case as soon as you receive them. You will need to provide photos in very specific positions to posh & they will refund you. The seller doesn’t receive funds until you release so just don’t release. Open the case & let posh handle the rest.

tiffcake
tiffcake @loulove22 I wouldn’t be surprised if the listing you bought gets taken down before you receive them due to reports of counterfeit item against it. Even if it gets taken down, don’t worry. It still is listed in your purchases and all posh needs to settle your case is the photos that you will provide

tiffcake @forshee1228 good call on the iridescent spiked follies. TBH, original pic looked like possibly ok pair w/ card added but extra pics confirm. The patent layer is separated from some cheaper material underneath/bubbling, the outsoles are wrong, the spike embellishment pattern is wrong, & the spikes are only iridescent on the cone (the authentic spikes are fully iridescent) Good eyes kiddo!! 😘

tiffcake @ctryon the seller (with the fake loubitag follies and fake nude pair) raised the price to $500 but blocked me so I can’t buy it—as if I’m a coward to the outsider that didn’t follow up on my request for price increase. Think she blocked me bc everyone knows I buy for $500 to shut down their closets once headquarters receives them? She didn’t remove my comments—just blocked me so I can’t buy GRRrR

tiffcake @loubielovahhh both her pairs are fake so she blocked me. The taps and the toebox were dead giveaways on the loubitag pair (seriously, follies that high on the foot?!?! Where’s the toe cleavage!!) I buy the fakes $500 to get their closets shut down (posh makes them pay to get their shoes back & they stay suspended if they don’t pay) but she was wise to my shenanigans I guess. Although she claims I offered her $100? Um no. I commented to raise price & that’s it

ctryon @tiffcake Haha... I don’t think anything annoys me more as sellers who are adamant that their shoes are 100% authentic, but they are clearly fake. I saw she asked me a question, but haven’t replied. Any suggestions?
Dec 01Reply
ctryon
ctryon @tiffcake @loubielovah Well I tried asking her to increase the price to $500, but she also blocked me as well

tiffcake @ctryon not sure what seller is trying to pull w/ the asteroids. That second pic looks authentic w/ very dirty insole. The subsequent pics look are fake w/ clean insole. I’ve got two asteroids & they have Swarovski crystals between the spikes. The suspicious pair does not.
Dec 13Reply
tiffcake
tiffcake @edwinbong re:asteroids... I agree with you. The icing on the cake is the claim they were purchased in Vegas at boutique (where I live). I have two pairs of asteroids and that pic with the dirty insole is authentic but it’s NOT the same pair as the fake pair in the other photos. Maybe it’s taking a long time to add the pics bc she’s scouring google 😆

tiffcake
tiffcake I had them in black and I just scored them in nude. Have to replace some of the crystals (missing) but that’s MUCH easier than replacing spikes.

edwinbong
edwinbong WOW such an awesome thread!!!! Yes, definitely replicas. Pretty funny how she males the claim they are authentic. I always replied with a "Vegas boutique at Goodwill?" But thought better of it. Lol, she was at least smart enough to start with a stock photo, real photo, then bad angles of her fake ones 🤣🤣😂😂.
