So... I’ve started thinking about graduating to bags (bc I obviously have plenty of shoes lol) but I just can’t afford the prices. My boyfriend made a joke about my hoarding and I replied that it’s sharply declined, truly believing it had! Then when putting the collage together, I realized my memory must be very selective! 😝

tiffcake @sheeseburger the pair I’m most disappointed about is the silver kristali 120... I can BARELY walk in them and it isn’t pretty to watch me—but I don’t want to consider giving them up! My favorite is the argotik platform in the covershot. They’re just so special with that subtle cutaway showing the sole on the side of the top of the stiletto.

tiffcake That first black patent pair is argotik—I’m pretty sure it’s clichy family. It has a cut away on the stiletto exposing the red sole... sort of like a “cat eye” makeup for a stiletto lol. They have similar cutaway in newer style called apostrophy AND it comes in lower heel heights so I’m eager to get them in black brown and nude haha

tiffcake @icua410 I’m not sure yet but mostly likely under $500. But I’m having doubts whether they would fit you on or not. They would probably fit you when you try them on but might slip off heel when you walk in real world due to the extremely high pitch making feet slide forward. They are tight on me but I’m not sure if it’s actually right amount of tightness if that makes any sense. Do you know your so kate size? They’re like a so kate

tiffcake They are size 37 and the insole measurement is 9.5in BUT they’re pointier/longer toebox than pigalles so it’s not possible for toes to go as far into point in these (unless you have really narrow feet)

icua410 @tiffcake hi! Sorry somehow I miss this comment! I honestly don’t know if it’ll fit or not because the So Kate’s in 37 they are a little big because of how high it is. Plus it’s very narrow for me. These are beautiful pair of heels but I’m just afraid it won’t fit me. 😞

You definitely have to check often & they NEVER have the correct style names so don’t bother with a keyword search bc you’ll miss real matches & get false matches (just search a designer in your sizes frequently) but you can ALWAYS get 20% off their price even if you’re not willing to risk waiting for discounts greater than 25%

tiffcake Their shipping is a little more expensive so I just save pairs in my list and buy them when a couple of them are on sale 25% off or more so I only pay one shipping fee. They also charge tax. But I can get things cheap on TRR more frequently than I can on eBay or other apps

tiffcake @icua410 they are consignment so they do all the work but you do not make very much money so I probably wouldn’t give my items to them to sell. I’ve never issued a return with them before and I only buy shoes from them. I’ve heard bad condition stories about other things but can’t say for myself. Everything they sell is authenticated. I consistently pay the lowest prices buying from them.

tiffcake @vicious22 I will TOTALLY help you!! I love making my shoe addiction contagious 😘 what’s your US size? Are you narrow/avg/wide? Do you have long/short toes? (Sounds crazy but there are some styles that don’t work depending on the combo). I know you want black—do you know if you prefer a standard 100mm height or sky high 120mm? Do you prefer no/slight/thick platforms? I will be on the hunt for you!

tiffcake @cadillacclaire first pic is argotik. Looking at it, maybe declic... not big enough platform for miss clichy to be basis of it??? So ignore my advice about following miss clichy sizing 😆 I know that I got whatever size I have bc the price was right, was available, and it was patent so I could err on larger. I’m pretty sure whatever size I have I’d prefer it half size smaller. So I’ll know for sure tomorrow.

cadillacclaire Thanks for all the intel so far! I have a pair of Clichy (not Miss, just regular old classic Clichy 120 and they do look similar except for the platform. Mine have no platform at all, so they’re a bit of a challenge. How much of a platform does Argotik have? Always a bit hard to tell with the hidden versions.

tiffcake @cadillacclaire I will measure it for sure when I get home. It looks to be 20mm which is why I was thinking they’re closer to declic instead of miss clichy (40mm platform). If mine are 140 w/ 20mm platform, that would also explain why I seem to recall wanting them half size smaller from whatever I’ve got. Wish I had the box! But I’ll measure for sure!

tiffcake @icua410 i just double checked and mine are actually 38.5 but my best size would still be 37.5 even though it would be tight at first. I’m not sure I could 37 in them with them being patent. But I’d trust the seller’s advice since every pair is different and she already might have broken in/stretched

tiffcake @adjoy I saw you commented on a pair of very jaws from a seller that recently sold (top right quadrant of 2nd pic) I can totally help you out with measurements/fit info bc I have 2 pairs of them—one size 38 I’m reselling bc they’re too big and one size 37 I’m keeping. I’m US7 & I find these to fit true to size. The 37 is not super snug (they’re suede so they stretch a lot) so I think that you would need them in 36 if I understood you correctly. I can get you measurements if you’d like

adjoy @tiffcake you are so sweet! I did like the very jaws and I don’t have a pair of loubs yet and I really wanted a pair as my “grown woman shoes” but I’m just unsure of the size. I’ve seen people ask for the sole measurement but I’m not sure if that’s accurate to the foot. Thank you for your information :)

tiffcake @adjoy here’s how I use measurements—use seamstress tape to measure length of insole w/ tape against heel cup (if open toe) or pushed as far as it will go into toebox without curling up, lying flat along the length/pitch & then I compare that measurement to shoes I own w/ similar toeboxes/pitches so I know if they will fit better or worse.

tiffcake @adjoy When I say pitch I mean, not just total heel height bc a tall heel can have a lower pitch if it has a large platform vs same heel w/out platform (pitch is how steep you have to stand up on your toes)

tiffcake @adjoy Louboutin is ROUGH for sizing. They can be all over the place depending which style, which material, which year & it’s made even more confusing resale depending whether or not they’re already broken in or have been stretched. But I have lots of them I can always measure for you :)

tiffcake @vegasbabyy that fake inferno pair you spotted? I have inferno (it’s hand painted Snake if I’m not mistaken) in 3 pairs—follies 100, so kate, & NVP. I recognized it too bc the color didn’t have the depth of hand painting (it’s flat in tone without the necessary variation) but they reproduced the pattern of colors pretty darn well. I’ve seen them WAY worse. They also don’t have a black rolled seam around the edge—it’s just finished with glossy black paint along the raw edge

tiffcake @ctryon If you want to go with a spiked pair to match your clutch, I think you need “Pigalle mixed spikes” which is an old cut with maybe 5 different colors of spikes ranging from gold to silver and black with different shades. I have one first collage pic upper left quadrant. Mine were 37.5 which fits like an 8 in my opinion (old cuts) so I sold them and got them in smaller sizes. I don’t know many pairs with the gunmetal colored spikes which might make the mixed spikes an easier find

ctryon @tiffcake Gotcha. I have never really been a big spike fan, but like that clutch. It doesn’t necessarily need matching shoes- just my excuse to get a new pair! On another note, I have a question I am. It sure if you know or not. Are the grey Marble Pigalles only in 110 mm? I figured I might ask you before I do more research! I have only seen them in 110’s

tiffcake @ctryon I’m not super confident but I think they’re 100 and 120??? I’ve not done much research myself. I looooooooooobe spikes and full disclosure, I’m not very trendy. Just shoe obsessed. But I figured when it comes to shoes/bags/accessories it’s sort of like makeup... drama on lips OR eyes but not both?? Which is why I was thinking that clutch would be great with nude iriza. Sexy and minimalist but not competing for attention?
