tiffcake By far my best score was that volcano strassed pigalle pair. But honestly, finding that elusive brain atwood pair felt just as good because I didn't think I was ever gonna find it again!

tiffcake @jdotdubs no worries--I completely understand! I have over 400 pairs and I have a buyer that made an offer that I'd like to accept, but I can't find the pair hiding in my collection! So she's delayed until I can reorganize this weekend--I'm a bigger heel (pun intended) than you right now!

tiffcake @themmy2502 I tagged you in a cool vintage pair of louboutin that is a really good price called "jaws" (I have 4 pairs of it in different colors bc it's one of my favorites and very easy to wear: white, black, red, and a custom order tan). I don't know anything about the seller but the photos show an authentic pair and I believe you are an 8... you can see my black pair in the second collage :)

tiffcake @nshark last pic on bottom left. They’re round closed toe like the other ones I had. You’re right though, There are peep toe versions but after wearing CL peep toes, many others seem vulgar—like there’s no shape to the peep toe and all your toes are hanging out (I don’t know how to describe it but you probably know what I mean haha)

luxuriste @tiffcake Yes I do know what you mean 😂 I’m very picky about peep toes as well! The pumps look great! You have such an amazing and varied selection of shoes. Definitely a unique collection 👍🏻 I love the strassed pair. I’m currently waiting for my own 😬 I have the metallic VPs and the gold had gotten scuffs and scratches so I’m strassing them and can’t wait!

tiffcake @nshark That strassed pair here is not an original strass. They were a ruined pair of old-cut black patent pigalles strassed by urban bling. There’s some missing crystals now (I actually wear them) so I need to replace a few myself. I’ve been meaning to read the entirety of the diy strassing threads on TPF to figure out how to make these replacements. I have an original jet black pigalili but I wish it was hematite. I saw a Plato hematite version that was super rad

luxuriste @tiffcake I will post pictures! I went with light colorado topaz because I wanted a hint of gold but not actual gold. I love what you did with yours! I'm dying to do a pair in volcano or scarabaeus green. What was the original color of your pumps? I've heard purple is a great base for the volcano crystals. The hematite color is stunning as well!

tiffcake @nshark they were black patent and the crystals are foil backed. As far as I can tell they did not paint the shoes metallic first. Light Colorado topaz is definitely a color I was thinking of trying. Everyone has volcano AB or crystal AB so I think yours will look very special. I’ve seen sometimes where it’s gold with pink/lilac shine and other where it’s gold w/ blue/green shine so I’m not sure if it’s different shoe color or foils??? It’s always gorgeous.
