vintage Redmon picnic basket

Gorgeous, LARGE vintage Redmon picnic basket! Fabulous double hinged wood lid, allowing you to open it from both sides. Beautiful woven exterior with layered diamond shapes, and braided top boarder. Metal light orange or peach handles. Wood strips reinforce around the top interior edge and underside of the basket. Orange toned paperboard lined interior; bottom surface of interior is a waffle, diamond textured stronger material. Underside of lid is stamped “REDMON PERU, IND.” Approximate measurements: Width: 22 1/4” Depth: 14” Height (excluding handles): 12” Handles extend approximately 6” above the basket, when held perpendicular to the lid
