true vintage 1930s bride and groom wedding cake topper

Here's a gracefully shaped cake topper that will look extra special in a collection or, yes, on top of your very own cake. I love the slinky lines of the bride's dress and her green ribbon. The groom has thoughtfully doffed his hat. This is a bit more than 3 inches tall and is 2 inches wide at base. Country of origin is not stamped on the bottom, but it is most likely from Japan or Germany. Condition is very good, with some paint loss on the heads. You could touch that up if you wanted to. There are also some stray dabs of paint that show on the dress--these are there from the manufacturing process and are not exactly flaws, just "character." This little piece is a big wow!
