Wonderful pair of mid-century modern controlled bubble blown art glass bookend vases designed by Carl Erickson for Erickson Glassworks, a Swedish glassmaker who immigrated to the US and even headed up training and management operations for Blenko. Circa 1950.
Height: 5.5 inches
Width: 5 inches
These can be vases, or they can be bookends. This handsome pair is both unique and interesting while serving a double purpose. They have a bulbous shape with one flat side and feature Erickson’s trademark of controlled bubble or bullicante style.
There are a couple of rough spots on the lip of the vases but otherwise in excellent condition
