I make my designs from super soft, vegan-friendly Anti-pill (no pill) Polar/Blizzard Fleece that is a lightweight, warm, and comfortable strong pile fabric meant to mimic and, in some ways, surpass wool, having some of wool's finest qualities, but weighing a fraction of the lightest available woolens. Fleece is moisture resistant and highly breathable, avoiding the buildup of natural odors. Polyester fleece is also water-repellent and doesn’t hold water easily, making it quick to dry. Machine wash your design with like colors in cold water. Hang or lie flat to air dry or on LOW heat only in a clothes dryer to avoid risk of melted/fused spots on the synthetic fibers. Also considered to be more environmentally friendly than wool as it is often made from recycled plastic bottles, it is a wonderful vegan alternative to wool. Fleece is also a great option for people who are allergic to wool, or those with skin sensitivities.
