lady_goodman1 @liledeglace you are so cute and I would love to impress you with my mad firefighting skills…but, my Dad was the real hero with an unfortunately tragic and unusual end. So this helmet means EVERYTHING too me!! I will pretend this is impressive and not just a side effect of being #1 Daddy’s Girl, but I did start training for the academy. Out of the major 2 girls in the class I lasted about 2 days when I dropped a guy on a cement staircase. Decided my physical strength was a safety hazard❤️❤️

liledeglace @lady_goodman1 haha! you are one powerful woman! love that 💪😅✌ i have considered picking that as my new volunteer thing too because I'm an Aries and reading Chris Guillebeau's Born For This，I learned that only 1/4000 people make it through the physicals，so the challenge aspect of it was really tempting me as someone who is generally health-conscious!

liledeglace prefer volunteer work too because generally，the higher-ups cannot force you to do anything you do not agree with for money! Aws，i hope your father and that poor fellow you dropped in cement are in heaven now! My 2 sibs in engineering: one loves it & the other is considering a better offer every week! Wishing you success in all your future endeavors! perhaps you'd be an excellent celebrity fitness trainer or engineer too!

That’s an awesome thing too even consider attempting, especially with those shocking odds🤭.My grandpa was a FF too and saved a newborn secs before the apartment collapsed. When “Backdraft” came out Universal studios reunited them after like 30 years or so. I wish I was older during the ceremony so I really understood how amazing he was.

liledeglace @lady_goodman1 thanks for your encouragement! i actually do not know how to volunteer except i know in China，my father&cousin would have to take the civil service examinations&my father is great at essay writing but not the best test taker in sciences but my cousin is excellent，so she recently ranked 2 in her county-meaning she gets second dibs on whatever she chooses to volunteer in!

liledeglace my father taught Chinese history there when i was little，which is usually kinda boring but his students still reach out to him to this day so his phone battery and minutes be crazy! that is so awesome of your grandfather! i fear sites like ancestry&anything genetic for fear of what good or bad news we may find in our DNA:(
