keleenkeys You check if it’s carrier locked by going into the settings>general>about. You can find out if the phone is blacklisted using the imei, but also anyone can also obtain total access to the phone, and have the ability to spy on its owner in real time when ever they want, if they have the imei! Idk why some of these ppl ask for the imei # like it’s no big deal?

keleenkeys It is a big deal, it’s the phones social security number l, basically. It’s really not anyone’s business until they own the phone, unless of course they have reason to suspect it may be stolen and/or blacklisted.

keleenkeys But, I feel that is just kind of a risk you run buying used phones online for way less money! Im unable to purchase a phone whose imei# is exposed. I’ve been being heavily cyber-stalked/cyber-harassed for many years by some crazy ppl and I know they can & have & do access my phone if they get ahold of the imei.

keleenkeys And, sadly, YES!, they are that obsessive about watching what I do and theyd definitely hack my phone if they obtained access to the imei # if they had any chance. So, me personally, have to pass by all of the listings that expose the imei. It’s a bummer! That peeisn pr’y just likes to feel they know more than other people. If they need to have the imei they can go buy one that is already exposed.
