decorative goblets from Ross

I got these at a white elephant gift exchange. They are originally $7 each from Ross. They're red and gold on the outside and dark brown/burgundy on the inside. They smell kind of sweet inside, I'm not sure why. It looks like the bottom gets smaller so maybe they could hold a large-ish candlestick.
