Here's a beautiful Noritake demitasse tea cup with certain elegance, made with fine white porcelain with an imperial red band hand painted with gold scrolls and trim. The edges of the teacup are gently scalloped. The bottom of the tea cup is stamped in red "Made in Occupied Japan", dating this demitasse to the mid-1940's. It stands 2 inches tall, measures 3-1/4 inches from handle to cup edge and the actual bowl is 2-1/2 inches in diameter and hold 2 fluid ounces. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or evidence of repairs.
