CAST IRON WHISKEY BARREL / CASK / KEG style STILL BANK
Scarce, original antique Cast Iron Barrel form still Bank
Esti 2 3/4" tall x 2โ wide at the base
Condition
Features what appears to be the remnants of original black surface paint. Scratches, w/finish wear & light sections of surface rust. We have not attempted to clean this in any way. Note uneven edge along one seam, and a bit on bases, top & bottom.
Bank is made in the form of a whimsical Old-fashioned whiskey barrel or cask. Noticeable wooden slats and rings decor. I see no text/writing. Assuming you open the bank using the screw. We have not attempted to open.
This late 19th century Cast Iron Bank is in good condition. It does not appear to have been repainted or restored. See photos to ensure you agree. Screw fits well, assuming original.
This is a highly sought after collectible bank. While this piece is not marked from what we can see, it was likely manufactured by Judd in the 1870s out of Connecticut.
See all photos to make your own determinations as to all aspects of this piece, including condition. Written description provided solely as a courtesy. Photos are the most important part of this description.
