Zola evening skirt and suit jacket - black with a satin finish - fits like a sm

Zola evening skirt and suit jacket - black with a satin finish - fits like a small/medium even though it says size 10 and skirt says size 12. Possibly mismatched brands but it’s vintage from my grandma! The blazer has some wear inside but it doesn’t show through and shouldn’t make a difference.
