This is because it is not cost effective to sell an individual item priced at $6.00 or less, due to the selling costs. Poshmark takes 20% or a minimum $3.00. Additionally, there is the cost of tissue paper, ribbon, cards, a gift, printer ink and paper. So, selling a $3.00 item actually costs the seller. $6.00 items net the seller approximately $1.00. Items priced at $5.00 break even, approximately and $4 & $3 items actually cost the seller. Please, keep this in mind when making a purchase. Thank you!
