I am a medium in coats but bought this XL to be oversized and loved it. Double-weave construction means no liner but the seams are all constructed in a very expensive, high-end way. I usuallyy wear without the belt to be oversized and cozy over sweaters I cut the care label out a few years ago. It was a wool blend, I believe wool/alpaca/poly
