The color is oyster white. They are not see-through when wearing, but you will need to pick lighter-colored undergarments since there is some see-through potential in bright lighting. I took a pic to show this. The material is very nice quality. Two faux decorative front pockets (4" wide). No back pockets, but does have a few pleats to give some shape and definition. Double-fastener and interior button closure with functioning zipper (4" length). These are NOT true to size and would fit an Extra Small (XS) better than Women's Small (S) based on flat measurements. If you are a true Woman's Small, it may be recommended to be on the smaller end of that clothing size for the waist to fit comfortably. The pants are in excellent condition. No stains or snags.
