Yerba Mate Drinking Cup

This is a traditional calabash yerba mate gourd with a metal rim and base.  It is used as a cup for preparing and drinking the tea-like infusion yerba mate. The gourd is typically made from a hollowed-out squash plant. It features a metal brim for durability and a decorative finish. The base is also metal, providing stability for the cup. 4"×3" Small dent in bottom band as seen in photos.
