The bail is silver and smooth. The stone is polished. Such a pretty piece in wonderful shape. Yellow agate's primary chemical property is its composition of silicon dioxide (\(SiO_{2}\)), making it a microcrystalline form of quartz. It belongs to the chalcedony mineral class and has a chemical formula of \(SiO_{2}\).
