Year of the rabbit (Chinese zodiac) solid brass engraved Hong Kong plate.

This wonderful old plate (most likely 1951 or 1963) is engraved with a rabbit in it from the Chinese zodiac year of the rabbit. (2023 is also the year of the rabbit). It has its original patina on it, though it can be cleaned and brought to a high polish. There are some minor spots of bronze rust on it and photos reflect this. As it is the plate is decorative though the rabbit remains hidden unless one looks closely at the piece. It has a scalloped edge as shown. A wonderful old piece. Cheers.
