This is the one you sit the entire candle base on? Or, Is this the type you use wax melts in?

@pratrat - Thanks for your reply! 😊
Okay, then that brings up another question (sorry)… is it missing a vessel attachment for the melts to be contained in as they liquify? It looks like it’s flat on top. Melts usually have a concaved top for the liquid as it ‘puddles’ during the melting process.

@klaine8 You must use the ones in a container!

@pratrat - Again, TYSM for your assistance! 😃
Okay, I guess I’ve never seen them. 😔 I’ve only ever used the tart ones that liquify over a candle.
Thanks again for everything! I was perplexed how this worked, obviously, because I’ve never seen the type you’re describing.
Have a wonderful evening! 😀

@klaine8 no problem 😊 I no it's for easy clean up!

@pratrat - Ahhh, makes sense. I always use cotton balls and ‘soak up’ the old wax, wipe it down, hit it with a quick cleanser, and then melt the next wax melt. Hehehe
I’ve never thought wax melts were a challenge to clean, because it seems so easy; but I can definitely see the advantage of being able to melt and toss when done. 😉

@klaine8 yeah the loose ones should only be used on a removable top so it's easier to clean! Scentsy makes removable tops!

@pratrat - I’ve never used Scentsy. ☺️
YC wax melts are über easy to clean, though. I just heat them up until they melt, push a cotton ball in there to ‘soak’ up the melted wax. I repeat the process until it’s gone, then do a quick spritz of cleaner on a clean cotton ball and wipe down the melter. [1/2]

@pratrat - [2/2] Then, if I want a new one started, I drop it in and let the candle do it’s thing. If I’m done with that holder (for the season), I snuff the candle and clean it once more before storing it for the year. Easy peasy! 😊
