The edges as you go around the shade are painted with a peppermint red and white border. What a lovely gift! Approximate Dimensions: 6 1/2" across the base of the shade 3 1/2" across the top of the shade 4 3/4" height of shade No noted chips, cracks, or crazing. Very nice gently used condition.
