Yamaha YFL-221 Student Flute

The Yamaha 221 is a well-regarded beginner student flute known for its durability and ease of play. It features a silver-plated nickel silver body, a closed-hole key system, and an offset G key, which are all ideal for new flutists. The CY headjoint is designed to help students produce a warm, consistent tone and respond well to their breath. Playing condition unknown, but plating and appearance appear to be in good condition. The joints of the flute are difficult to put together, I cannot get the headjoint in, but don't want to force the issue. Please be aware that you may need to take this flute to be serviced and invest a little more money in it. Case in poor condition. The latches work great, but one side of the flute rest pad has become unglued from the case. Please see photos. Case measures 16.5"L x 2.5" D x 4.25"H. Made in Japan, so much older version of the 221.
