YOU ARE NEVER AWAY Buddy Clark Columbia Records 1947 Album 78 RPM Big Band Pop

Columbia Records released these two recordings of Buddy Clark in October 1947. This is the original album featuring “You Are Never Away” and “All Dressed Up with A Broken Heart.” Dick Jones directed the accompanying orchestra on these recordings. “You Are Never Away” is from the Hammerstein and Rodgers’ musical, “Allegro.” The album is a 10 inch round black hard plastic (shellac) disc which plays at 78 RPM. The catalog number 37985 is on the label and the matrix numbers on the plastic edge are CO 38281 and CO 38282. ~~ CONDITION ~~ Album is in very good condition with some surface scratches. The disc is without cracks or chips. We have listened to the album and the sound clarity is good. Label is intact on both sides of the album and clearly readable.
