ediebloom1 Just so you know, unfortunately this is inauthentic :( A shame because it really is a beautiful dress otherwise! I am not sure WHICH style it is a knockoff of, but I only needed to see the tag. It’s not the worst I’ve ever seen, the brand tag looks okay-ish, but the size & material tags are very consistent across this era and the font on yours is completely wrong. Additionally it’s very rare for MJ to use letter sizing except on knits, every authentic dress I own uses US number sizing.

drownsoda @ediebloom1 hey, I like how knowledgeable you are about this, are you a Marc Jacob’s collector ? :) While generally he does use numbers I’ve come across a fair share of letter sizing, what’s fascinating is sometimes the exact same items have been released with letter and numbered sizing. Different markets I suppose.

ediebloom1 @drownsoda It definitely depends on the item. A lot of MBMJ uses letter sizing. It’s just odd on this dress, but either way the text on the material tag is a dead giveaway.
